My passion for education and the teaching of English and Literature has given me great enjoyment in passing on my knowledge, enthusiasm and skills to my students and fellow teachers. I use my years of experience to help you and your students in a number of ways: ranging from seminars, workshops and webinars, to text books, study guides and incredibly useful mobile apps. Anne has over 35 years’ experience in secondary schools, with expertise in the teaching of English, EAL and Literature at all levels.

Anne has held various positions of leadership, including Head of English, Year Level Coordinator and Director of Professional Development. She has been a member of the Victorian Association for the Teaching of English (VATE) council and has presented workshops at many English conferences, both in Victoria and interstate.
She has presented lectures at VATE’s Year 12 Revision Days; has delivered classes in ‘English Enrichment’ for Year 12 students at Copperfield College, St Albans Secondary College and Sunbury Downs College, and is involved in a VCE Study Skills Program for Sydenham Libraries.
Anne Mitchell is an assessor of the Year 12 English examination, the GAT and NAPLAN, and has run numerous workshops for English teachers and the broader school community.
